A happy satisfied patient and referral base is the most important asset we can have as an organization.
Insurance and Billing
Currently we are contracted with the majority of private, managed, and commercial healthcare insurance providers in the greater Cincinnati region and are able to provide care for Medicare and Kentucky and Ohio Medicaid recipients. If you would like to know if we accept your insurance please call us or call your insurance provider for assistance. We make every effort to determine your insurance benefits BEFORE you receive service in order to avoid any unexpected surprises. If we provide you with service we will bill your healthcare insurance provider on your behalf.
History of Durrett's
Robert L. Durrett, Certified Orthotist, originally from Louisville, Kentucky, started Durrett Brace Shop on September 1, 1958 at 722 Scott Street , Covington, Kentucky as a sole proprietor. Over the years, serving thousands of Northern Kentucky's disabled, his business grew and grew.
His son, Ronald L. Durrett became interested in the field of Orthotics and began working for his dad in the early 1970's. After moving to 2 different locations on Scott's street, on September 12, 1980 Durrett's moved to a larger facility on Dixie Highway in Erlanger, Kentucky. Ron had become a Certified Orthotist/Prosthetist by this time, so the name of the company was changed to Durrett's Orthotic and Prosthetic Services. On January 15, 1987 the office was moved to its current location at 20 Medical Village Drive, in the Doctor's Building next to Saint Elizabeth South Hospital.
During January of 1994 Bob's son Ron bought the business.
