Suzie E. Ward
Owner and General Manager
Suzie is the third-generation owner of Durrett’s Orthotics and Prosthetics and started working at Durrett’s in 1996. She purchased the business from her father, Ronald Durrett in 2019. Suzie graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Office Systems Technology. She is responsible for all daily operations, billing, contracting, accounting, and overseeing staff members. When she is not at work, she enjoys running, cooking, sports, raising her four boys and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.

Anthony graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1999 with a Bachelors of Science in Civil Engineering. He began working part time at Durrett’s in 1997. Tony completed the Northwestern University course in Prosthetic in 2000 and completed his ABC Prosthetic Certification in the fall of 2001. In 2002 Tony returned to Northwestern University to attend the Orthotic certification course and completed his ABC Orthotic Certification in the fall of 2003. Tony is Licensed in the state of Kentucky and Ohio to practice Orthotic and Prosthetics. He served 8 years as a board member and served as president in 2021 for the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, our industries premier certification and facility accreditation organization. He also served as a board member and president of the Kentucky Orthotic and Prosthetics Association. Tony has served since 2008 as a certification examiner for Orthotics and Prosthetics for new individuals entering the profession. In 2021, Tony accepted a position on the advisory committee for the Bluegrass Community and Technical College, Orthotics and Prosthetic technology program. When he is not at work, he enjoys the outdoors and spending time with his wife and four boys.

Sara joined our staff as an Orthotic and Prosthetic Resident in 2023. Sara graduated from University of Maryland – College Park in 2019 with a Bachelors of Science in Bioengineering. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2023 at University of California, Dominguez Hills,. In her free time, Sara enjoys hiking, reading, doing puzzles, and cheering on the Maryland Terrapins (Go Terps!).

Christian is an American Board Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist from Ottumwa, Iowa. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from William Penn University and his Master of Science in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Alabama State University. He is a childhood cancer survivor and a below knee amputee. His unique perspective as both a prosthetic patient and a clinician helps him guide new amputees through the post-operative and prosthetic fitting process. His passion is helping amputees achieve their mobility goals, and he strives to provide the highest quality of prosthetic and orthotic care for his patients. Outside of work Christian enjoys golfing, hosting game nights with family and friends, and relaxing at home with his dogs Pepper and Ruby.

Nikki joined our office staff in 2002. She is responsible for insurance billing and authorizations. In 2004 Nikki received certification from ABC in Mastectomy fitting and is responsible for all Mastectomy services at Durrett’s. She is also a trained fitter of compression garments. In her off time, Nikki enjoys spending time with family and friends. She enjoys attending sporting events of all types, local festivals, and spending time outdoors.

David started at Durrett’s O & P in June of 2025. He has worked in the O & P profession since 1995. David is a highly skilled technician with vast experience and enjoys fabricating custom orthosis and prosthesis. He enjoys helping patients. In his free time he enjoys hunting and fishing.

Nicole joined our staff as an Orthotic and Prosthetic Resident in 2025. Nicole graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2022 with a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She then went on to complete her Masters of Science in Orthotics and Prosthetics in 2025 at the International Institute of Orthotics and Prosthetics. Nicole likes horses, going to concerts, and hanging out with her two dogs, Dakota and Shadow.
